Peer to peer lending

I just watched a clip on The One Show about Peer to Peer lending and it looked interesting. I have read up on it on one or two web sites and understand the mechanics.

Has/does anyone do it, does it work for you,are the risks worth it?

Don't mean to be nosy but if you have dabbled I'd be interested to know what you think

Looked it as a business that we might want to do. Decided the risks outweighed the benefits. Went it goes well, great, but if one party to a deal is a bit less than kosher.....
still it seems to be on the rise and rise
