Paul Casey

I'm gutted for Paul, tantrums or not. He was well under par after 9 (?) holes yesterday and somehow forgot how to play golf.

Another smug arrogant sweary they always get there comeupanse

And you're basing that opinion on what exactly? Having met him with my kids, I found him to be nothing short of polite, professional and totally approachable.....still, I guess that's only my opinion.

Can't be doing with the club-hurling thing though, what with him and Woods; seems like it's a Nike thing!

It's my opinion too, polite, professional and approachable.
Saw him at Wentworth, of the half dozen or so 4 balls I watched along the fairway, he was the only one smiling and looking like he was enjoying himself.
My mates son has met him and walked the course with him during a practice round at East Sussex National.
Smug and arrogant would be the last thing he would describe him as.

Anyway, he's made the cut at 4over..... so who knows....
come on Paul!

Golfmmad.

Don't like club slamming by anyone.

To all those that say it's inevitable in today's world, I say look to tennis. There were problems with petulance in the 80s and 90s, so they brought in a penalty for it.

It rarely happens nowadays.

Warn the guys after one offence, penalise them after two, double it after 3.

They'll stop.

Shame Casey isn't playing as well as he can, but C'mon Dougherty !

Wheres the yawn smiley???

Players bang clubs, so what. Shows they have the desire to do well.

I am not for tantrums at all, but banging the head of the club on the deck after a bad shot is not like swearing at a camera or spitting at an opponent is it?
