Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome

Hi Guys, i started to play golf 3 months ago, after a break for a few years. The last couple of months i have had a sore knee, it comes and goes. Well that was until yesterday, OMG serious pain coming from the top and bottom of my knee cap. I cant bend my knee, the pain is through the roof when i try and bend it. It is really tight, and swollen. Has anyone on here suffered from this, and how did you manage the pain. I have purchased a knee support to try and help this condition. I have googled it, but i would like to hear how people on here managed the condition. Thx guys :thup:

I cant get dressed, i can only get my shorts on, and its chucking it down outside. I might go to the western general minors department later on. :thup:
