.....hit some decent shots. I was striking the ball well, taking advantage of the light nights, is going to save me a fortune in driving range fees.

Hit this one in on the 3rd, Par 3 135yds to the pin, 9 iron hit clean, quite chuffed as it's better than I've been playing for a good while, even managed a little back spin.

Funny you should post about striking it well.

I've been focusing on a better transition over the last week or so. Played yesterday morning. This was my tee shot into our 215 yard, par 3, 7th.

3ft nudge in for birdie.

I'm off out again tonight after work. If I hit it just as well, I'll be pleased!

I did, not often I see birdies during a round, but I had two another on the par 3 5th, no idea what the yardage was as it was to foggy for my DMD to work, took me a while to spot the flag.

The green does look a little rough, but that was the summer green, still a little soft to get the Toro on but it putted fairly smooth. The greens are in remarkable condition considering the winter we had.
