anybody recommend any good courses in around the mids? me and my nephew are gonna try and go and try a new course once a month......look forward to tour replies.....cheers pete.......

I'm an ex-Birmingham inhabitant and played non-stop for 4-5 years around the area.....if it exists, I'll probably have an opinion. What bit of the Midlands are you talking about? If it's east Midlands, I can't help.

The best ones in Derbyshire area (IMHO) are:

Kedleston, Chesterfield, Cavendish, Chevin, Buxton High Peak.

Other top courses in the midlands include:

Forest of Arden (cracking greens), Belfry

May be able to help a bit if you can be more specific of where in the Midlands you are. East Midlands is my area and can put on to a few bargains.

Can you give us more idea of area.....it seems everyone is itching to help, but we're a little lost.

i.m.h.o. I wouldn't go anywhere near the Forest of Arden or the Belfry, unless you've got cash to burn.
