Matchplay.uk.com sent me an email about open events that they are holding - Essex/Herts and Midlands so far.Apparently it is for club handicappers and a seperate comp for club golfers, also they are running a pairs comp with the final in Spain.I played in this last year and a scratch player & 7 handicapper won the scratch golfer scoring 19 points on the front nine, some golf.With my society handicap 7 shots lower than my club handicap I'll probably enter the club pairs comp maybe looking for a partner.Great day out at a very friendly golf club.
