One Swing Coach......

If you were allowed free of charge to avail of the services of just one coach for 12 months who would you pick?
And do you think it would make a difference to your game?

I would pick Pete Cowen......He seems to be one of the best if not the best coach on the European Tour.....
He'd be my choice.

I'm not sure I'd switch and if I would who I would switch to. For me it's about having a positive relationship with your coach rather than them being perceived as 'the best'. When I played football I responded more to coaches who were supportive than tea cup throwers. Cowan, Leadbetter, Pelz et al might be people I just wouldn't click with. I guess if I had to pick someone famous it would be the late great Harvey Penwick. I like the simplicity of his Little Red Book, in fact I might dig that out again for a little light reading

I would choose the coach from my old golf club, he basically taught me how to play golf and I like his teaching style.

Easy peasey, Michael Bannon, European Coach of the year and Rorys swing coach. He also happens to be our club pro at Bangor and STILL charges decent rates

My current coach Paul Ashwell. He's been with me from the beginning and knows my game and development to date and the planned future development. Main thing is I trust him, have faith in him and his teaching style is perfect for me.
