one for Dog lovers

Good news that the outcome seems positive. Hope he makes a full recovery. Great action by you as the owners to recognise Baldrick wasn't right and your swift efforts and that of the vet undoubtedly saved his life

That's great news.
I used to have a Jack Russell that had cancer of the spleen.
The operation was successful and, once recovered, he lasted another 10 years and finally passed away a few years ago aged 16½!
I wish him well, I'm sure he will be .

come on leaps and bounds from yesterday, got some appetite back and ate his breakfast this morning and had a poo

so many bits of saved fur though, on both front legs his throat and chest to bum.

That really is great news. Sounds like he'll back to normal soon enough.

Great news. We've laughed at ourselves doing the poo check "has he been, has he been...he's been - yippee" and dance a little jig of delight!!

well i can say he is def feeling much better. when given a treat yesterday he took it so gently from my hand, very out of character, well just now almost lost two finger...

Phew!

I've been reluctant to open this thread after the first read. So relieved to read the good news - hard luck with the fingers tho'.

I've been home alone with my dog for a few days, and would be lost without her.

Well back to the vets today and they were over the moon with his progress and all the staff and nurses came out to see him, gave him a kiss and a cuddle.

On a different not if i were to go back 30 years and was single again , i wouldn't be going to night clubs etc, would have got a dog, he is a babe magnet

Good to hear.

Next time get an insurance premium for life, saves a lot.

Our last pooch eventually died of cancer, and it took £2,000 just to diagnose, so learnt our lesson then.

Great news.............

Anyone got answers for an easy way to make an astonishingly dogmatic labrador take a worm tablet.

Butter on nose... no
Wrapped up in cheese...no
Hand fed with Spagbol....no.
He takes all the food then looks you triumphantly in the eye and spits out the tablets.

Blow pipe?

Mrs BiM says if it's a hard tablet can you crumble it & sprinkle it on dinner? She loved the thought of the triumphant look before spitting it out.
