Can the BBC please show a bit of class and not stuff a microphone into a competitors
face seconds after their medal dream has been shattered.
I find this very uncomfortable, akin to stopping at a car crash to watch the paramedics working.

Why would they, cringe tv is apparently what we all want !!!

The competitors are schooled to just come out with stock, bland answers, yet they persist in the hope they get someone who says something controversial to get the 'experts back in the stuidio' analysing it.

Would have hoped for a bit more class from the BBC, long gone I guess.....

Agree with you, I felt sorry for Euan Burton competing in the judo. Lost his match in minutes after working hard for years, and he was visually distraught while being interviewed pretty much straight after. Poor guy.

Have to say i was impressed with the mens gymnastic team at interview, every team member was asked how they felt about being put into bronze position after appeal. There wasn't a hint off bitterness from any of them they were made up about winning there bronze medal and a credit to themselves and there sport.

I sa Jonathan Edwards (ex-triple jumper) interview one of the kayaking guys earlier....class. The so-called professional interviewers could learn a thing or two !

Sir Steve Redgrave ably assisted by John Inverdale have been conducting their post event competitor interviews in a very capable manner... Think it helps that Redgrave is clearly somewhat of a hero amongst the rowers...

You wanna hear Wiggy live on Sky News in a live press conference just a moment ago, absolute priceless! Colourful language to say the least.
Says it how it is, just an ordinary guy...Well if you can say that, more like a legend in my eyes.

Im all for ex atheletes in the sport they were in doing the interviews, they know how the athelete feels having been in there position before.
Its also good that the tv channels get the joy of winning,as well as the disapointment,i feel its adds to the drama.
