Has anyone every purchased new irons/clubs and after a few months been tempted to get their old ones back out. I used to play with TM Supersteel burners and to be fair there was no need to change them.
I only opted for new shineys as my friends has later model irons which seemed more forgiving. Well now a year down the line im not convinced that the move was for the best. The only difference in spec was that my supersteels were stiff graphite shaft and the new burners were regular steel.
As proved when i replaced my older 09 burner with the r11 sometimes change isnt for the better and its now got me wondering if its worth having a wack with my old irons.
what i dont want to do is upset anything, but at the moment i dont think im playing my best golf so if im tempted it may as well be now. It may highlight a problem with the shaft flex in my irons if nothing else.
