Hi, I'm wondering if it's possible to put a ten year old graphite shaft in my driver ??

It's from an old model Titleist back in 2005 and would be putting it in my 915 Driver, it's a Grafalloy s flex 60g shaft.

I've an even older shaft in my M2 currently....its only a matter of availability and economics (regarding the latter, unless you are doing it yourself it will often end up cheaper buying a new club!)

Simply a matter of checking the tip size of the shaft ( either .335 or .350) and buying the right adapter. The hardest part is getting the shaft out of the old club without damaging the tip and if the old driver has a graphite crown not damaging the head if it is important.

With these older shafts it is often possible to buy new shafts on ebay at reasonable cost particularly factoring the cost of shaft extraction if you are paying to have it done (£10-£15).

I would also think that you'd be able to pick up an old shaft on eBay quite cheap, then add the tip and off you go. Rather than risk damaging club head and shaft getting it out the old driver?
