Old Course for £42.50

Just heard on the news that the Old Course are releasing a limited amount of tickets to play for £42.50. Not sure of the restrictions or amount of tickets available but I can't imagine there will be many available - probably all gone already

Bit disappointing when you drill down into the detail. Quite prescriptive and it appears only one date applied to The Old Course.

21st May for Scottish residents only. In fact the whole 179 times are restricted to Scottish residents and mostly on the Eden so not a bad compromise

Feels like a bit of a PR stunt given how few tee times are available! 179 times over the whole year is a start but it would be nice if this scheme was extended in future years......even if it was 1 tee time per course per day.

Bugger I’m away on only date for Old Course otherwise I would have put in for ballot, only 11 tee times though.
