Had my new car delivered yesterday. The old one had done 18 months hard labour and was in need of a rest so a shiny new C3 turned up at 10am. Had some work that day so just put the essentials in.
This morning I began transferring all my "stuff" over.
Hadn't really clocked the size of the boot. Its bloody tiny!
It's not big enough to get my trolley, clubs and bag in - meaning I have to have either bag or trolley on show.
Not happy.
Might have to do some strengthening excercises on my ankle and start carrying again....

Mrs MN has a C3. No chance of getting all the kit in the boot. I have a C4 and even with that I have to stick my bag on the back seat or take the driver out.

One thing I have thought (and could be something for Smiffy to note) is that car dealers should be aware of the golfer market and keep a set of gear in the show rooms so we can check out if you can get all the stuff in before buying.

Bag in the boot and get Fragger to bring your trolley along :D

I had to grab a trolley that folds up really small for a trip last year when 3 of us here heading off in someone's car - that and put the clubs in my winter carry bag as it is more streamlined than my trolley bag.

Might be worth scouting round to see if you can find something that fits the bill

I have to drop the back seats down in my Astra in order to get my bag and trolley in.
If I go up for a quick knock after work and am carrying, I have to remove the driver and woods from the bag to get the bag in without dropping the seats.
My old Mondeo used to eat everything I threw in as the boot was huuugggee!!!

School boy error in car choices.

My mondeo can fit 4 Carry bags with the drivers out with ease. I also went up to Carnoustie for a game and brought back a couple of guys who had been up there for a week at a competition. All in i had 2 cart bags, two leccy trolleys, two big bags, a cool box plus my carry bag and overnight bag..
Only needed to put down the single seat to fit it all in.

I have an old model hatchback mondeo whose boot can accommodate two sets of trolly bags with everything else bar my trolly. My mate's new mondeo carries all of the above plus the trolly with space to spare.
Therefore the mondeo's the answer.
PS getting all the kit for two in the car takes preference over street cred.

Trade it in for what i have Murg....A Volvo V70......
4 bags,4 Trolleys and 4 adults all in comfort.......Simples ;)

Oh yeah, no worries there. Trouble is I tend to go straight off to work after golf. Teaching kids to drive with a bloody great PK trolley bag on the back seat doesn't really look right.
HID says just plan it better, but I tend to keep the clubs in the boot - I quite often get cancelled lessons and if I have a spare 3 hours I've got time to get a round in or go to the range. But not if I have to go home every time to pick up the clubs and drop them afterwards.
I'm thinking of going back to carrying. Went to AG yesterday and "borrowed" a stand bag and G15 driver to check for fit and it'll work ok.
I have to carry around a certain amount of stuff for work as well and the boot's just too small to make it all go in.
Another thing - I'm off down to Aztec's today. If I need to stop on the way - for a "Jimmy" for example - then the bag is on view for everyone to see and nick.

Anyone use the Titleist SX6 or StaDry bags? THey look quite smart.....
