A while ago now.
I’ve never expected to win just wanted a chance if I played well.

You still have that, just less.

That’s a strange question ?

I am a member of a club that costs me £1400 a year.
I am a competitive player I enjoy competitive play.
But I am hamstrung by a system designed for me to be in the top 8 but not to win.
Imo that’s not a level playing field.
If I don’t play in the comp Saturday I can’t play simple as that!

If you think that’s ok fine .
But a system that replaces another should not give anyone an advantage over anyone else.
Wether that system exists is debatable but WHS isn’t it in its present form.

I think the winner is also in the top 150 if there are 150 entrants but it's a bit beside the point.

My friends and family couldn’t give a fig.

It should give everyone a chance of winning. Again, if the system gives players a chance to be in the top eight, one of them is going to be the winner.

I believe it does, unfortunately (and I don’t know how they’ll fix it) under the WHS the single figure guys have seen their chance lessen.

I believe it does, unfortunately (and I don’t know how they’ll fix it) under the WHS the single figure guys have seen their chance lessen.

Lessen to a chance that is lower than higher hcs, yes. Not none, true. But an unfairly low chance.

Sorry I’ll rephrase then and say “fair or equal” Chance which is what I initially said
