That's probably realistic. Wonder why you enter?
That’s a strange question ?

I am a member of a club that costs me £1400 a year.
I am a competitive player I enjoy competitive play.
But I am hamstrung by a system designed for me to be in the top 8 but not to win.
Imo that’s not a level playing field.
If I don’t play in the comp Saturday I can’t play simple as that!

If you think that’s ok fine .
But a system that replaces another should not give anyone an advantage over anyone else.
Wether that system exists is debatable but WHS isn’t it in its present form.

And one week you may win, isn’t that why we all enter Comps?

I normally find the only people who ask you if you won are non-golfers or immediate family.

I believe it does, unfortunately (and I don’t know how they’ll fix it) under the WHS the single figure guys have seen their chance lessen.
Lessen to a chance that is lower than higher hcs, yes. Not none, true. But an unfairly low chance.
