You still have that, just less.A while ago now.
I’ve never expected to win just wanted a chance if I played well.

Whs is designed for me to come top 8 not win!You still have that, just less.
That's probably realistic. Wonder why you enter?Whs is designed for me to come top 8 not win!
So my expectations are getting less and less.
That’s a strange question ?That's probably realistic. Wonder why you enter?
And one week you may win, isn’t that why we all enter Comps? That’s a strange question ?
I am a member of a club that costs me £1400 a year.
I am a competitive player I enjoy competitive play.
But I am hamstrung by a system designed for me to be in the top 8 but not to win.
Imo that’s not a level playing field.
If I don’t play in the comp Saturday I can’t play simple as that!
If you think that’s ok fine .
But a system that replaces another should not give anyone an advantage over anyone else.
Wether that system exists is debatable but WHS isn’t it in its present form.
I think the winner is also in the top 150 if there are 150 entrants but it's a bit beside the point.Isn't the winner also in the top 8?
Yes but he’s the winnerIsn't the winner also in the top 8?
Really it’s the other way around for me.And one week you may win, isn’t that why we all enter Comps?
I normally find the only people who ask you if you won are non-golfers or immediate family.
Sounds to me that you're looking for a system that is designed for you to win, not others.Yes but he’s the winner
Nobody remembers the other seven!
Sounds to me that you're looking for a system that is designed for you to win, not others.
It should give everyone a chance of winning. Again, if the system gives players a chance to be in the top eight, one of them is going to be the winner.Shouldn’t the system give everyone a fair chance of winning

I believe it does, unfortunately (and I don’t know how they’ll fix it) under the WHS the single figure guys have seen their chance lessen. For many the current system doesn’t give everyone a chance
So no single figure player or less than 5 has ever won a handicap tournament since the inception of WHS?For many the current system doesn’t give everyone a chance
Not sure I have said thatSo no single figure player or less than 5 has ever won a handicap tournament since the inception of WHS?

Lessen to a chance that is lower than higher hcs, yes. Not none, true. But an unfairly low chance.I believe it does, unfortunately (and I don’t know how they’ll fix it) under the WHS the single figure guys have seen their chance lessen.
You said the current system “doesn’t give everyone a chance” - who are the people then who have no chance? Not sure I have said that
