odyssey backstryke putters........ Your thoughts

Friend of mine at work has just changed to one of these and he said the results are remarkable! He said he is getting a much better roll and making a lot more putts from the dreaded 12 foot range.
Does anyone have one of these? Any thoughts?

Works for Bjorn. If a putter suits your eye then you will putt better with it. Simple.

What works for your mate may not work for you!

Not keen on the look of them to be honest and it would take something special to get me away from my current putter.

I've had a swish in the Pro shop and they are immensly stable so if youdo "waft" your putter around they may be a good bet. I think don't the look will take that long to get used to, especially if you start sinking a few.

Found them immesnsly off putting behind the ball and not one I'd be getting anytime soon

Have tried them and you aren't missing anything. Bit of a marketing gimmick if you ask me and if you want some putting help plenty of mallet types in conventional set up that will do a job

Odd looking thing that doesn't appeal to me, no point in trying it if it seems butt ugly as I would never be happy with it. If it does it for you all well and good.

I have 1 the blade. Yes the roll is great but I found it very difficult to be consistent with long lag puts. I rarely missed anything from 6ft or so.
I recommend if you are looking at a new putter get fitted by a professional.
