Now many layers of tape can you get under a grip...

Hi All

Just took delivery of my lovely new i20 irons with 3 layers of tape and a jumbo grip.
Unfortunately I have such big hands that I have to put tennis grips over these so I dont
get cramp.

Does anyone know what the maximum number of layers of tape you can get under a ping
orange (jumbo) grip?

I know Bubba has big hands, maybe I should speak to them

I think Bubba has 12 layers under a big grip. You can go as large as you need, speak with your pro

Golf grips in my opinion are way too skinny anyway, if they were larger you wouldnt need a leatther glove to keep hold of the bugger

Anyway... im the one with freakishly big hands so I will have another word with the pro although he seems to think 3 or 4 layers is the maximum under a grip

I believe that Bubba has 10 at the bottom and 6 on the top half of his clubs.
