Looks like we are all in for a soaking. I'm not a lover of playing in torrential rain (who is?) we need it though as we all know, it's been as dry as a *un's chuff this year so it's welcome for some I suppose, but why does it have to be a flipping weekend?

I am! Honours board comp, just bought a pair of MacWets and my game is in great shape after a win in the thursday team league two weeks running and an 83 last weekend (~ cos was matchplay) with a +3 gross back 9.

Swapped my clubs into my cart bag and recharging the battery on the trolley, all cleaned, ready to go. Can't wait now.

Got a bit soggy towards the end of today. Had trouble focussing - maybe the thought that we were going to get wet didn't help.
Not playing tomorrow but might have a pass for Sunday!!

id love to be going out tomorow for a round rain or not. havent been able to get out in over 3 weeks so in desperate need of a game, but unfortunitly work again tomorow all day and even if i didnt i would be able to play after almost dislocating my knee yesterday id best give it some rest!!

Just got home from playing bushey hall (herts) this evening - absolutely soaked - ping waterproof top kept me try up until the turn - had an hour an a half drive home to Sussex, will be packing a spare par of clothes next time!! Playing Sunday which I think is gonna be better

I'll probably play this afternoon even if it is raining. Providing it's not torrential with puddles gathering or the wind howling then I don't mind it.

Played yesterday late afternoon in the rain. Just use my twin-line 3 with an umbrella, keeps me and the clubs dry. So no probs

Plus the course tends to be nice a quiet

Played yesterday at Windlesham. Give the forecast was for torrential rain most of the afternoon we were lucky to only have patches of drizzle until the 14th when it finally chucked it down big style. Despite the waterproofs, brolly towel etc, all I wanted to do was get in. I managed to hit a few good shots in the downpour but to be honest as it was only a social round the mind wasn't as sharp as it may have been for a comp and so I wasted a few too.

I think I've been lucky this weekend bearing in mind the forecast.
The rain only started yesterday on the 17th, and it stayed dry for all of today's game.
