Not even close!

And Glasgow Celtic. The only 2 teams I support as in actually put money into.

I thoroughly enjoy going to watch Newcastle getting beat off anyone though and go maybe twice a year to watch Leeds due to mates being avid followers and the day being a good day on the booze.

Following my National team is my main passion when it come to football..........you think you've had it tough over the last few years!;)

We haven't had it tough really - league has avoided us , but seen plenty success over the years.

Having watched what I thought was the game of the season up to yet its a shame that the game is remembered by what COULD OF BEEN. The decision of sterling being offside was a grade one stinker? But we can all hypothesize about could he of scored when having to go another 40yard with the ball, when we know he cannot score from 5 yards when he put the ball over the cross bar. That was why he had his head in his hands at the end of the game and not the crap offside decision.

as a CITY fan I spent years looking at decisions when we were a liddle club and we had some stinkers against us? I can categorically say that now we are massive we have had some real iffy decisions go for us and it sticks in my throat. Bypass towards big clubs yup I think so an ave seen it from both ends.

last night I thought the ref/officials made some stinker decisions which about evened itself out, which is no consolation. If Liverpool's finishing was better the I think I could of been me slagging off the ref.

I will give an honest response as I did watch the game.
Sterling was clearly onside and to be honest it did not need a replay to see it.
However it certainly isn't worth highlighting,so much was going on in Liverpools area
with Skirtel holding City could of had 2 penaltys.
What I would like to see is a lot more professional referees and assistants.
There is so much money in football nowadays, everybodys trying to con the refs, wether
its diving,holding etc.
I hate Liverpool so much, being a Utd Supporter, but one thing I would have to say is
Brendon Rodgers and his team have done an amazing job to turn Liverpools fortunes around.
They are certainly back where they belong[nearer the top than middle] and for me that makes
for a better PL.

And breathe pokerjoke (that must have hurt).......:) lot of common sense there, TBH.

The bad decision against Sterling and it's merits, shouldn't be based on the likelihood of what he might do next BTW and even forget the fact that he scored 3 in his previous 4 games. Facts eh?

It was a cracking game, as was the LFC v Everton game earlier this season, and sadly both games were punctuated by very poor refereeing decisions. It doesn't matter to the neutrals, as they seen a cracking game, but it is understandable that supporters of the two clubs involved are going to have a good old moan, especially if their teams are their passion. It's what football does to you.

City should have had two pens, and us one and lots of other wrong decisions by the officials sadly which is blighting the game. I argued till i was blue in the face with a mate 10-20 years ago when I was against video refereeing, but I think refereeing has got so bad over the last 10 years, that I am now in favour of it on a partial basis.

Tashy - spot on, and City (maybe chelsea also) are a good example of getting sod all off refs when a run of the mill club, but now you are sitting at the top end, most decisions go your way. We had it for years, and still do on average.Refs do get intimidated by home crowds, big crowds, team reputations, individual players (think Rooney, Terry and Gerrard) and managers (Ferguson, Mourinho), and that is what video refereeing may help to even out more, decisions wise.

Hope the next ref isn't from greater London, although if he's over the age of 25, there is no chance he'll be a Chelsea fan.....;)
