Welcome to the forum Carling:thup:.
If the weathers good then your really going to enjoy it mate. If you've got the bottle then you can cut the corner on the dog leg par 5 first by going over the trees on the right which then leaves you've with only a short iron to the green but you got to get it spot on or your in big, big trouble, for me it's a 4 iron down the middle every time.
Neil[ Thanks for the tip:thup: ]

Cheers fella, likewise if you fancy a day out in Liverpool.
Just a half is it?Maybe a carling, from carling?
Hamshanker, if your going to cut the corner, dont try it by more than 20 yards. For me its a 3 wood (too far and you go into a massive hedge on the other side of the fairway. There is also water before the green, so my advice is if you dont want to get off to a bad start, iron down the middle, iron to the water, chip on for 3, 1 putt would be helpful!! Get a course planner, if you haven't got a rangefinder.
Club up 1-2 irons for the eigteenth, short is dead. Be careful, I seen a snake last time!!
All good advice boys cheers:thup:,
Sounds like im gonna av to get these irons working thenbeen awful lately with em ,gonna get out soon for 9 holes and practice as ive not been the course for 3 weeks, getting diy out of the way
Oooooooh and its my 100th post....woo hooo:cheers:
in order of preference,CONWYN,NORTH WALES,ST DAVIDS,VALE OF LLANGOLLEN,MAUSDE
should have checked the spelling, the toughest thing about the course was the starter, checked your h/c certificate then passed a comment when you teed off, nice course thoughAm assuming that last one is Maesdu. The only place I've seen a golf ball stop in the air, then start coming backwards. One par 5 about 470 yard into the wind - four decent shots with a four iron to get to the green. 18th, just short of 500 yards, got on with a drive & a 7 iron. You'll gather the course catches the wind occasionally.
