Also - what an English club patronisingly and condescendingly offer and pay for as young Scottish players will not bear much correlation with their worth - the English club will know the figure the Scottish club can't turn down - and that won't be that much - and so that is what they will pay. Cost and worth are not the same thing.

I'm hoping May can kick on and at least become a player that Scotland can rely on playing. Saw him maybe 3 years ago while he was loaned out to Alloa and he ripped the pish out of the Berwick back 4, different class especially at that level but he looked a prospect then all the same.

Stevie May - give him time - 20 goals this season with any luck :thup:and he's got wee Nigel playing well and delivering AND scoring - rather than doing his previous 'headless chicken' act. Hope to get to the New Years day game against 'well - and maybe also the COunty (it's a family board) game on the 4th.

No - it's identical - and just another reason we despise them. They buy our players to reduce our competitiveness rather than increase their strength.

That is not the same as English clubs - so we don't despise these clubs in such a way. We just wish that they wouldn't 'take the piss'.
