Vig's course wasn't quite that bad but I've been out in worse!
Just hogging the Mrs laptop as she's come home to work as the buses are struggling to get through even the main roads in Liverpool today.(Back end sliding out on a bus is always fun!)
It's going to be 3 weeks at the best estimate for my course I reckon

I have just returned from a morning round with a group of hardy seniors at South Cerney. Temperature -2c and heavy frost on the ground. It has started to snow now so I guess that is it for the next few days.

Bah a chilly 8c this morning in Spain. Don't know why I bother! LOL
Played Thursday, Sat and Sunday.
Thursday was pleasant, green soft grass with a slight firmness under the cropped greens but not frozen.
Saturday and Sunday should have had the temp greens equipped with windmills and clown faces.

Same here, Edinburgh has been snowbound for ages. Once the thaw starts the course will likely be flooded and closed. I'll be lucky if I get a game before February.

The courses in the Czech Rep have been pretty unplayable for the past month, so I thought i'd grab a round of golf back in the UK over Christmas.
Suffice to say, heavy rain and damn temporary greens (don't you just hate them?) put paid to my plans!!

crikey Mike !! were 45 mins from North Wales and have 6 inches on snow !!
That area really does have its own micro climate. Played North Wales GC in LLandudno in September and whilst the rest of the NW was swimming in rain
