Got (had) a Nike str8 fit Dymo driver. Best, most forgiving big stick I have ever owned. Played today, in the cold, and the head fell off. The internal splined tube the shaft connects to came out. Can't glue it back in, as it needs to be orientated to the head/shaft, and in a fit of stupidity I have removed the shaft from it.

Nikes web site is dreadful with the only available support being Nike store 'where's my order' type help. Have left a message asking who to contact to get it fixed but don't hold out much hope. Not impressed with their customer support. They seem to be hiding any useful contact details.

Luckily I'm not playing for a while.

Not around for the next week or so, so can't get it fixed til after x mas at best.

Not impressed of Watford.

(don't post 'should have bought a Ping', I'd rather hit my 4w than carry a Ping driver).

Bad news Murph......:(

I've got a nearly new VR STR8 fit 9.5 deg with stiff shaft in the garage that I may be persuaded to part with if you don't get any joy with yours.

matching 3 wood and 21 deg hybrid as well.... :D

Give Kevin a call on 01442 876 262. Hes in Berkhamstead and I bet he can fix it, if he cant he will tell you who can.

It's a shame that you still couldn't hit it very well :p

Oi, no need for that. Hit some really good drives with the Nike. Some almost made the 200 yard mark.

I heard a couple were straight too :D

A real pain in the arse by the sound of it Murph and pretty poor of Nike not to make life easy for you either. Is there an e-mail address for customer service. Drop them a line and at least you know it'll be there for Monday

Not really any info on their web site. Think I have figured it out so if I hear nothing back by next weekend then I think I can fix it myself.

At least if I keep hooking it I can blame a duff repair.

Surely any decent pro shop offering Nike should be able to fix this, afteral it's only a block of metal with s bit of fishing rod stuck in it.

More of a pain in the arse that's it's broke. Is it an old driver? Just asking as it would make me question the build quality.

That's what you get when you buy a trainer on a stick!`

Sorry Murph but don't get the whole Nike Golf thing. Hit a couple of their drivers once and just didn't like them at all! Think they should stick to making running shoes!!! :D

Hope you get it sorted though!

It might be ugly, it might make a nasty noise, but it works for me (sometimes). Nike have given me a phone no to ring, but I can't do it for a week as it will cost a squillion quid to phone from over here.

Broke on day one? Ouch! My Callaway FT-i broke after two years and they were not use whatsoever (I'll never buy Callaway again!). Hope Nike are more customer friendly, they should be offering a brand new replacement.
