Another poor comp for him. Ended up 125 on 16 over. I really feel for the guy. A few glimpses of recovery recently then wham back to struggling again.
Strange how such a good golfer can start struggling. I know what's it's like when I play badly so how he must feel I can't imagine. He knows he can play...

Harrington did Ok with his new swing but didn't pull up any trees.
Do you see either of both ever returning to top form?

golf must be littered with players who had a couple of good seasons and then disappear. is he really as great as all that or was he just an average player who had a decent streak and gets extra publicity for marrying di stewart.

he wasn't good enough to make a ryder cup team. even andrew coltart managed that and his time in the sun was pretty brief...

I suppose he has to way up whether he wants to play golf every weekend........or spend a few extra hours in bed with a glamorous wife - who is earning more money than him - on a Saturday and Sunday morning!!!

I agree with a comment above. He was a decent player who had a good spell of form and won a bit. But that form's deserted him, even a week or 3 back we were all wowing at him actually making a cut and leading for a while - then it all went to RatPoo again.

He can obviously play all the shots - I guess most of the trouble is between the ears - a usual.

Rob Lee was calling her Di all weekend in the links back to the studio. I can see how coming back to those gorgeous eyes and impish smile (Di's not Lee's) would make it hard for Dougherty to focus on making the cut for the weekend
