New Wedges - straight leading edge?

I’m looking to replace my old Eye2 wedges this winter with a matching 54 and 58/60. One key requirement I have of the new wedges is that they have a straight leading edge. Will likely be buying second hand so doesn’t have to be a current model and no real brand preference.

I have had a grab of the Cobra Tour Trusty and was very taken with them (especially the black PVD model), but what other options are there for razor straight leading edge wedges?

Mizuno T4's and T5's are pretty straight.

This is something I thought I wanted too so didn't think I'd like the new vokeys as they look quite rounded when you pick them up, but down by the ball I don't notice it at all.
 
Why straight leading edges? I imagine they would dig in more, not necessarily a good thing.

You cant go wrong with Vokey or Cleveland wedges.

I also require a straight leading edge. The callaway tour grind 2 are reasonably straight. Most Cleveland are horrible.

I don't get why someone will post it doesn't matter, you'll get used to it. No you won't. If it doesn't suit your eye, it's junk.
 
I have just bought 3 Cally md3 and I must admit the flatter looking leading edge suits my eye.

Found a few other brands a little 'spoony' looking

Never actually realised there where differences until a few weeks ago.

Must reccomend you give them a try. Cracking wedges.

I do get that it is best that a club suits the eye but how well a club suits your game is what counts.

I love the Cameron putters and have tried a few but I putt so much better with an Odyssey #7 with an insert.

If I had let my heart fill my bag I would not have got down to my current handicap.
 
Curious to know why people want straight leading edges on their wedges? To achieve that you need a flat sole, which adds to turf drag and increases the possibility of chunking the shot. More curved sole wedges also allow for easier escapes from awkward lies. :)
 
Yawn. A straight edge suits my eye and therefore that's what I'm after. I have no interest in debating the merits of straight vs curved edges.

How do you putt with a curved leading edge?

Yep, ditto. I won't play as well with something that doesn't suit my eye. It's irrelevant what some one else thinks, it's about me, and what I like looking at.
 
Curious.

My 52° Cleveland 588RTX has a straight'ish leading edge.

58° same make and model is more curved.

Weird.

You the OP. Callaway Macdaddys have the straightest leading edges I've ever seen on a wedge.
