got my self a motocaddy digital S3 today. From AG the £399 with the free bag which is smart as hell worth £120. so for basically 99 quid more than the s1 i got a bag and some extra functions. he also threw in an an accesory holder and brolley holder.

Cant wait to get out on the course to use it.

Had a bit of a result was speakin to the guy in AG and he plays at st mellion. We mentioned im off there for my stag wknd next year. He then said because we spent a fair bit between us at AG over last year or so he has sorted us out a free round at st mellion on the Nicklaus course. So me and old man can get a feel for the place before we go in June.

All in all im happy with the purchase and will write a review if people want once i get out and about with it.

wont be for a week or so as i work during the week and and next weekend im fully booked up. But will deff put a review up after i done a round with it. Also got an 18 hole battery and heard mixed reports so will say my true comments on that. i know on the S1 it was ok.

Have this trolley myself with the 36 hole battery, had it for about 14-15 months, not had any problems with it at all, though the battery will not do 36 holes on separate days, but they do say that the 36 holes are to be played on same day.
Played 27 holes on Monday past for first time and battery was dead coming up the final hole, but the sogginess of the course is hard on the battery at this time of year, so hard to get a real assessment.
I bought mine because it had the USB port to charge my iPhone and GolfBuddy if i forget to, plus it has the device cradle to hold them in.

Love the walk on function great if you are at the front of a long green and pin is at back so you can set it to go to the back corner while you putt, saving walking back and forward, also if you hit over a hedge and go through one side maybe 20yds before where you think your ball has pitched, go through a gap with a Pw or whatever and know you can walk back onto your fairway further down and your trolley will be there without going back on yourself. If you are having a bad round or a playing partner is i find it can stop the slow play, especially at this time of year when i find many of my mates carry their bags and don't have to go back to trolleys.

I played this course in the ENGLISH SENIOUR OPEN PRO AM and i think you will not be disappointed, the set up is second to non good practice area and the hotel is really good, some nice holes but a typical Nicklaus set up with humps and hollows and blind shots and water but should be a good test for you hope you enjoy it ( ps as you can tell not a lover of NICKLAUS courses )

ok so got out with the trolley today. was worried as i knew it didnt have a full charge as took it out on amber light not green. Got round no problem at all and was satisfied with how it performed. On hills i turned up the speed slightly but that was no issue. The extra functions on it where usefull if mainly to see how far we hit our balls and exact measurement to the green etc. It was quiet and moved along smoothly which has handy as could walk behind it to make a rollie with no issues. The bag well its massive fitted all my waterproofs in and other junk i take to golf with me and still had pocket spare. This bag was worth the deal alone as seen them selling on ebay for about £100 which basically means all the extra trolley functions where free if you sell the bag which i wont be. Id rate it as 9/10 over all and generally a good peiece of kit even if i did get abuse as being old before my time and also lazy by my playing partners. (i put it down to envy haha)
