New to golf and the forums. Just wanted to introduce myself and see if I can find some recommendations and maybe the odd playing partner.
I'm based in East Sussex, Hastings and play at Beauport regularly and occasionally at Eastbourne, sandwich, Manston.
Only started in September but I'm hooked and it's helping me lose weight.

Welcome aboard! If you are enjoying it now, just wait until Summer when the weather is better - and the rough is 3 times the height! Plenty of good/great course not far from you. Beauport seems good place for 'starter' though. It's worth getting a series of lessons to get you started with a 'correct' swing before the 'bad practices' get ingrained. But the key is to enjoy it.
