I really like the look of the AP1's, going to give them a hit at the Golf Show Live in Bluewater and if I like I will get a fitting booked in.

The CB forged look very nice - not sure about the AP range though

Love the look of the Hybrids, really interested, when do they hit the shops?

Last time out they released a driving iron. Is there a new one of those due out?

Ignore that - I just noticed the T-MB

They all hit stores on October 23rd, so plenty of time to book a fitting in over the winter and have time to hone them in for the start of the 2016 season :D
Best get my letter written and post it to the North Pole:lol:

I've been in talks with my club pro about upgrading my current irons to the 716's (most probably AP2's again).

He mentioned that Titleist have exclusive rights to a new Dynamic Gold shaft in the 716 range, is this the case, and can you shed any light on the shaft characteristics if it is?

Also, have Titleist suggested any recommended combinations of clubs - certain irons, hybrid, driving iron combo's etc?

All the shaft details are in the launch story links above, but a quick summary sees Titleist introduce exclusive True Temper Dynamic Gold AMT shafts in AP2, CB and MB, where there's a 112g 4-iron to 130g PW, to give you easier to hit long irons and more controllable short irons.

Titleist don't recommend set make-ups, but rather give you lots of options to suit any possible need you could have! Hopefully by discussing you strengths and weaknesses with your pro/fitter, they'll be able to recommend something that gives you the best gaps through your bag.

Yes all RRPs and specs are in the launch stories above!
Cheers Jake, got the prices, great to see no (AP1's) or very little price increase over the 714's, could be a winner.
Maybe it's because i'm looking on phone but can't see the loft options for the hybrid apart from the write up saying there would be lofts available, can you share the link to the lofts please.

The more forgiving 816 H1 has 19, 21, 23, 25 and 27 degree options, while the more compact 816 H2 has 19, 21, 23 and 25 options.

Unlike the 915 hybrids, the hosels on the 816 hybrids adjust in 1 degree increments (rather than 0.75) to also make gapping simpler.

I have the AP2 710 and I couldn't justify the cost of these to maybe hit it better or not. I don't see how they could be massively different to what I'm using. Sure someone coming from another brand might be attracted but users of previous models might not feel the need to move. Serial upgraders don't count because they just want bag bling at the driving range but if you're hitting irons well, there's no point in changing unless they are really worn out.
