Surely there is only 1 view of a golf club that really counts. The one from above is the only visual that matters when you are playing a shot!

Disagree on that one, you need to have nice looking clubs. It’s all part of the appeal of the club.

Awful design, they look like that square strike club or 10 year old callaway irons.

This 100 times over! Amazed how hard it is to find a top line view at set up of most clubs!

Who cares what the back of the club looks like?

top line is a factor, but i would buy anything as fugly as these, no matter how nice the top line is.

But what do those clubs look like from above?
That Callaway just looks like any cavity back iron like that.

I don't care a lot about what the back of my irons looks like, but I wouldn't buy any that look as ugly as these. You spend enough money on a set of irons that you don't want to shudder each time you pull one out the bag.

Not a fan of the looks but I'm sure they do the job.
This isn't aimed specifically at TM but a SRP of £185 per club is getting silly.
They won't retail at that but 7 irons are still going to fleece you for over a grand.

Look nice, nothing wrong with them bar being TaylorMade. They aren’t shovels looking. Not looked at the lofts of them but would look good in any bag.

Saw the article (and the other one NCG did about new adjustable Ping putters) and have to be honest neither the TM irons of the new Ping putters blew me away in the looks department. Definitely feel both are something you need to see in the flesh
