Going by the current state of my credit account in the proshop (Won last saturday so back into the right side of zero!) It looks like I might treat myself to another pair of comfy Greenjoys. I have tried other makes and models but I just cant see past the lightness and cushioning of the greenjoys.
My current pair are the black ones but have ordered a pair of the white with the thin black line up the middle as shown here.

Which would you have chosen, was I wrong to write the brown over white instantly?
Ill have to have a word with the pro also as they are a fair bit cheaper everywhere I have looked so far and would rather leave it with him than spend it elsewhere.

I've just picked up my black and white AQL's that cost me next to nothing thanks to my winnings.
Got another voucher for somehow coming 2nd in the week! Mmmm what to buy...

just can't do Greenjoys - it's the plastic that gets to me.
I've now got 2 pairs of AQL's (1 black, 1 white/brown) but have had to ditch the LT's as the heel has broken down - hmm, room for another pair.

I would have sworn the same until I tried a pair last summer, my foot shape just melted into them when dryjoys etc just didnt feel as nice. They can get warm but I have felt worse, read:hitec and adidas.

I have never worn footjoy, I had a pair of nike air elite, for 9 months, air bubble went, took them back to shop, new pair of nike air given, diff model, as mine were no longer available, so happy days, saved me 90 quid! lol

I got a pair of Greenjoys last early year foi use during the winter or if it's really wet. So, I used them a lot last summer :)

Good fit and cost effective and ideal for the wet conditions. Not had wet feet in them yet.

Use a nice pair of Dryjoys during the summer months though.

Footjoy AQL's all the way for me. Got a new pair of white/black ones that I haven't worn yet but will give them a run out tomorrow as the weather is set fair and the course should be a little firmer. Don't want to get them too muddy!

;)

Plastic shoes..yuk no thanks you'll end up with feet like this

Bit of a mixed review there!
To be honest my feet dont get too hot and the size 12 is comfy and not restricting either, I have wide(ish) feet. If they are not as comfy as my first pair, they will be going back.
Cheers for the comments, all taken onboard.

I have a pair of black AQLs on order. The shops don't stock the extra wide ones so I am waiting for the delivery.
Let's hope they are wide enough.

The icons are on the back burner as a cracked windscreen has made a hole in my "treat fund" today but might opt for a pair of black/white dryjoys from HID's pro tomorrow if we can do a deal. I'm hoping she'll get a staff discount.

I can recommend the nike heritage's at about £35.00 I think they are excellent value and comfy too. Bit of a bargain methinks.

just picked up a replacement pair of greenjoys. the first pair, after a few months of play, developed a mark like a tear on the top of the shoe, almost like a cut. No probs replacing them. Find them very comfy and light.

Had mine a little longer than that but the same is happening, the inner layer hasnt been compromised but I'd rather not wait!

After having another try of the Dryjoys today (2010 model) they seem a little nicer so I have changed my order to a pair of these

It also helped that I scooped 1st in the low section (lost overall on a b6 countback darnnit!) and a 2 at the 14th, still, they arnt going to cost me anything as the credit account is blooming for the first time in ages.
