New shinies?

There's nothing wrong with the 80s blades I've got :)
If I start playing again I may however get some i25s, they felt nice. But before that I would like a new shed, a car port and a shiney new fridge freezer :)

Oooo Heck ye, post a pic when you get the new fridge freezer! :D

For those of you who have got new stuff recently, dont forget to get some photos taken

This is exactly the advice my insurers gave me. I've got a lot of weightlifting gear and I just take pics if I buy anything new. I pay about £25 a year extra to cover my equipment but it's worth every penny.

I am pretty sure anyone breaking into your house is not going to steal your weight lifting gear. They are looking for cash, electronics, gold and silver and anything they can carry to sell quick or swap for drugs.

Have you priced up Ivanko competition plates? Do you know the value of an Eleiko weightlifting bar?

I own both, I bet my bar costs more than most forum members golf clubs.

It is good advice that bob is giving. I know people that have had trouble making insurance claims for personal belongings ad they could not actually prove they owned it. One of my mates had a load of fishing gear knicked from his garage and the insurance company did not pay out for everything he had as he had no proof. What he did then was to give them some pics of old kit he had sold to his brother and they paid out on that.

Good thing with golf clubs is that you can register them using the serial number, so you will always have proof of ownership. Even if you get them second hand from flee bay. I contacted TM regarding a driver I purchased that had already been registered and they contacted the owner to verify I now had the club and then registered it to me.

That wise old sage does talk some good advice. No point getting the clubs nicked and running in issues with insurance to compound the issue. I have specialist insurance (Carrick Neill.. others are available ) and I sent them the serial numbers and scanned a copy of the reciept when I upgraded to the I25's
