Adams XTD forged 3-PW

the 3 and 4 are the DHY Hybrid and the rest are proggresive CB to MB forged irons



Hybrids have stiff Matrix White Tie and the Irons have Stiff KBS C-TAPER 120's

Been to the range twice today and really liking them. Well i am loving them to be honest.

The DHY's are like cheating.

First outing tomorrow night on the course. Will report back hopefully in a good mood.....

Cant wait.

Feel more like a cast iron (like a Ping club) if i had to make a comparison.

not much of a "ting!" type noise more a whack. They send the ball high though and look very easy to hit at address.

I'm up there most nights after work around 6ish mate for 60 balls or so. Will keep my eyes open for that lovely Adam Scott'esq swing of yours.

TBH ive been chopping and changing loads recently. I read lots and lots about these and decided it was a toss up between the JPX850 forged or these.

Tick all my boxes

Forged feel - Check
Forgiving heads - Check
More forgiving longer irons - Check
Nice looking - Check (IMO anyway)
Not super duper charged distance clubs, but not short neither - Early days but ill say check
Good shafts (for me anyway) - Check

With the above in mind i narrowed it down to the JPX and these. Mainly through watching online reviews and articles.

Only issue was cost with the 850's which ruled them out

Saw the XTD at frankly baffling price and though i had nothing to lose. Cant wait for tomorrow, especially as i am swinging well at the moment.

The course and the club are good thanks, I've only just started playing medals again in the last two weeks after busting my shoulder and I'm a bit rusty at the moment, hence me battering the range recently.
I'll try and sort a game next week if your free..?
