New Scotty Range

Scotty Cameron have launched new mallet style putters to replace the Futura range as is.

Not entirely sold on initial looks but would need to see one in the flesh and hit it first. No sign of the RRP but imagine these will come with a heft price tag

I think they look very very nice. Haven't heard any prices yet, I'm sure that will dampen my initial enthusiasm.

I think all putter manufacturers are trying too hard.
Some of those shapes are going to make so little difference to another they're just making putters for the sake of it.
Pricing will be high and I'm not sure then looks justify it.
I had a Red X some time back - decent putter but I've tried others since and they just feel light a lump of steel on a stick to me...

Worst looking series he has done hands down imo. Just not for me in the slightest.

However I get that it's intended to be a contrast to the classic newport type designs.

Nicked the colours from YES putters.
Extremely fugly and will be ridiculously overpriced as per anything SC.

not a fan of some of the newer models TBH, getting far too expensive now, over £300 RRP , even if that may be caused by the exchange rate

Strange that they've gone for lime green rather than their traditional red detail. I would never buy a Scotty anyway, but if I did it wouldn't be one of these.

I'm sure with Scotty that they'll be strong on performance - regardless of whether they look good or not
