Just got my new putter delivered to my door, Nike Method 001, great looking and feeling on my carpet! going up the practice green after some work i have to do. Will let you know how I get on.

Anyone else looking or gaming a new one at the moment? I was reading at the back of GM about peoples relationship with putters on the forum, never really felt it. hopefully i get that with this one.

Funny you should mention this. Yes, I am.

With a bit of luck, fingers crossed and all that, it will be delivered late today :D

Same for me too today pal, Ping Nome delivered at work this morning courtesy of fellow forumer tyke. Really impressed with it! Went to local workshop at lunch and they've cut it down to 33" for me, and in a couple of hours I'll be on the putting green at the club! Happy days!

A playing partner uses the Nike 001 an he likes it a lot, nice looking putter, best of luck with it.

Is it the Del Mar?, or are you not as pre emptive as me and put it in your sig early!

Nope, the Scotty may, and this is something I never thought I'd say, be finding it's way to the for sale section on here pretty soon.

I got re-fitted following some significant changes to my putting posture and stroke. My pro took a look at my stoke how it is now and says it's capable of sub 30, but the Del Mar (Which I was fitted for) is now too short (Posture change) and the grip would be better with a midsize (Combination of hand size and how I grip the putter).

It would have cost more to have the Scotty lengthened and have a Midsize cameron grip added than buying a nearly new putter.

used to have a del mar, would have been up for buying that had my method not arrived. feels so confident in the stroke, looking forward to hitting it on a green.

Yeah I just got an Oddyssey Rossie as I lost confidence in my two ball, absolutely love it. Took a bit of use getting used to the new face as was quite a bit quicker than my old putter

I have a new putter and it is a thing of beauty and on paper is a better fit for my "slight arc" stroke. It is different in every way to my old one and I am not yet as confident with it but am starting to. It seems, and its early, as though the distance control is right there but maybe not so much the accuracy yet.

I do not change putters often so it will get a good chance in the bag.

I have bought two new putters recently. A Scotty Cameron California Del Mar and Ping Scottdale TR B60 with adjustable length shaft.

As much as I want to love the Scotty, the Ping wins hands down on distance control, feel and just gets more puts in the cup. A super putter and will be my choice for many years to come, really an excellent product. Had to buy a second one for my son who fell in love with it too.

Stole my post. New Benross Casino bought from AG today. Spent a good while testing out practically the whole range, so it should be the right one.

Sounds good guys, for a tall lad I have had to work hard on my touch, long game is awesome but around the greens I have to work really hard, the method gives me SO much more confidence around the greens, just played 9 holes. (Without any irons) Just Wedges a,3 wood and hybrid (new irons are here tomorrow) but this put me in some awkward situations. I think I hit 5 one putts from 10 ft and in and the rest tap ins. Cant wait for my irons now!

I was seriously contemplating the 001 Method. But after trying out a friends 004 Method, I'm not so sure now.

But looks wise. the 001 is one of the best out there.

Yeah it works well. If you can pick up the 001 for the same price as the others. Snap it up, mine was 70 with postage. Had to buy a new putter cover (stupid ebayers always lying!) But what a steal. Hopefully I will make that money back in prize money. Drive for show, putt for dough!

My putter is for keeps. I need to put the work in on the stroke and so V-Easy dusted down and off to drill it next week. I putted well on quicker greens at Maidenhead last week and rumour is ours are even quicker now.

My plan is to keep this one for a while now. It's my first one I've bought - the other was a hand me down - so it should help me a lot seeing as I can now putt with a far more repeatable action.

Currently waiting for my new putter head to be sourced. Have had the luxury of trying a prototype for a few rounds and its beautful, sadly not quite the right spec for me and has to go back lol, sooner the new one arrives the better as the current incumbent knows its time is up and is now misbehaving (or it could be the owner!) Will leave me with 3 scottys on the bench, Fastback already on a for sale thread, the Newport will be joining it once it comes back reshafted from titleist and not sure what to do with the Kombi, will keep it short term at least i expect

Not sure I can let that Newport go to far... It's a bit of a special putter that one. Have you sent it for a refurb already?
