Hi folks,

I've persuaded the wife to buy me a new putter for Valentines (bless her :D) so i've got about £120 to spend on a new one....but i must get it tomorrow!!

Any quick advice?

I was looking at the Odyssey Sabretooth earlier, my brother has the White Hot 2 Ball and swears by Odyssey but i've never used one.

Suggestions please?

Where do you plan to buy from?
High street shop or club pro?
If the club pro, ask him for his advice
Putters are very individual and lots like the Scotty Cameron and the ODY 2 ball, but £120 can get you a very nice YES! putter :)

Go to your local Pro or AG and try all of them. If you just buy one it could be £120 badly spent. There is no such thing as a bad putter - only ones that don't work for you, be they £200 or £2.

The Taylormade spider/izty bitzy is worth a look they are well balanced

Rife's are nice too,if you like the look of one over the ball thats the one to go for regardless of cost

I can recommend both the original spider and the itsy bitsy. If you like thelook of a sabretooth try and get HID to hold fire as there is a new version coming out (the Teron white hot XG) which is a reworked sabretooth shaoe with the added feature of the odyssey 2 ball alignment aids

Whatever style make and model you decide on make sure you try before you buy. If possible you are better of going to a local pro and seeing if you can try some out on a proper green where you will get more realistic feedback.

Go Saber all the way best balanced putter I have owned, great feel and it looks the muts. Well thats my opinion, I'm sure some will hate it.

What do YOU prefer, mallet or blade????

Its your putter so go with the good lady and have a putt on the indoor surface matey!
