Getting custom fitted for my i20's on friday........Cannot wait.

How long did you have to wait for the fitted clubs to arrive?

They were ordered at AG on Thursday and they arrived Tuesday, whats with a weekend and a bank holiday in between.

well well well, I had a chance to try a full set last weekend and thought oh! oh! I'll be selling my MP69's the next day...........
yes they were easier to hit, especially the 4 iron but the flight was so much higher but did go as far as my MP69 3 iron (more air time possibly)
Once you get to 6/7/8/9/PW I prefer my blades so I'm not coveting them as much now. They certainly still look good though.....for a Ping

didnt think I was but I can see how the post looks

I thought I wanted them based on a swing with a 6 iron (still think thats a nonsense) as the MP69's are not forgiving at all, even if you bring them flowers and whisper nice things they never forgive you, but the i20's only need a grunt and they forgive you all day long.

very impressed with them, long and straight.

I think its going to be the start of a beautiful relationship

Managed to get my custom fit done today. I don't really trust the figures of the flight machines (whatever they are called?) but the results looked very good. The main thing was the feel of the clubs when hitting balls. I can see me keeping these clubs til I'm old...

Had to wait for my lesson tonight and saw a set of I20's in the shop. Was tempted to hit a demo after the lesson but did the sensible thing and worked on the drills I was given instead. I still want to hit one in anger

I am shocked that AG fitted you for regular black dot . Sorry just being a nob...

The Lie angle (Ping Dots) are calculated by both physical measurement (wrist to floor & height) and by hitting a few balls with a paper label gauge on the bottom edge of the club, the ball is placed on a small thin board, and when you strike it leaves a mark on the paper.

Where the mark is, dictates the lie angle required. all mine were bang in the middle, so black dot it is, im 5 ft 11 so pretty average, My old G15's were Blue dot (0.75 upright) and 1/2 inch longer shafts , bought from fleabay, so they probably werent an exact fit.

Going out again today with "Slim" , looking forward to doing battle with you Aylesbury Vale boys soon

I am in the south of France at the mo in 26* heat with blue sky's but I'm told AVGC is under water and closed. The cut it hard before all this rain came so its just a pond now but ye we are long overdue an AVGC v AGC battle. Promis I won't let Neal talk at you all the way round!!

A stealth i20 driver and now the irons, should you be checking into the GA thread for a little therapy? Those G15 hybrids must be under presure now?! And omg the i20 hybrids look sexi
