New phone advice

Hi everyone,

I need a bit of advice on changing my phone. At the moment I have a nokia something or other.

I was looking into these Blackberry's. What they like? I have seen some people mention them. What are they best for, what is the reason you brought one etc?

Any help would be great. We have a family business which requires me to recieve a sh#t load of phone calls and e-mails, if this paints a better picture

Blackberry Bold I would say.

The storm is gash, too hard to use if you have decent sized fingers and pi$$-poor battery life which to me would be essential for a business tool.

If you need to do emails and calls for business you need a BlackBerry Bold mate, I have one and love it.

If you need to get email on the move a crackberry is without doubt the best piece of kit.

Simple reason is Blackberries push email to your phone when it hits your inbox all others have to pull it into the device, meaning they have to keep asking the server if there is any mail resulting in shorter battery life.

Security is also superb on them in terms of viruses etc as your mail passes through their server before hitting your phone.

I used to get my mail on a Nokia E51 via Mail for Exchange, and it was erratic to say the least.

I looked at lots of things, including the iPhone which I loved, but I just couldnt get on with the touch screen.

Decided to go with the Blackberry Bold, and quite frankly, I have no idea how I managed without it, it is absolutely fantastic.

Call quality is at least as good as my Nokia's, pretty damn good, and the Email capability is just awesome.
It can open pdf's, word docs, excel, blah blah.

Get a Bold, they are bl@@dy fantastic things.

Hi

I've been a Blackberry for user for quite a few years now. The New BOLD is def the one to get, no doubt the best handheld they have produced. Dont be suckered into getting the Storm, its really not all that good at all.

If you want the touch screen with loads of apps etc, get an iphone.
