New or second-hand clubs for a returning golfer?

As an avid player in my youth, I have returned to the fold after a (very, very) long absence.

I was hoping for some guidance on my dilemma to either buy second-hand or new clubs (given I will look to upgrade them once I have a sensible handicap again).

Personally I'd go for SH, I'm lead to believe the sh market will be flooded soon as other sports have now returned for many and guys who took it up during look down might be offloading clubs they are not using.

Even if this doesn't happen bsrgins still to be had and you can then upgrade to new as and when

I would go second hand until you have a consistent swing.
