New(ish) fairway woods on the way.

Having decided to change my old Big Ant 3 and 5 wood I spent alot of time looking around at reviews and clubs.
One big criteria for me was to have a deep face on the fairway woods and I soon noticed the majority have the shallow faces on them to help get the ball up. They certainly did that for me when I tried them, right off the crown of the club and straight up!
Bought a "used" pair of clubs which look brand new in the photos with the 3 wood still having the shaft stiffness sticker on the heel.
Can't wait for them to turn up!

Turned up today.
If these had hit 10 balls between them I would be surprised. Not a scuff on the soles, not a ball mark on the faces and not a single sign of a top.
Took them on the range, nice and straight as I now have the right shafts and really good distance on them too. Had a quick 9 with a mate later and apart from a couple of duff shots that were totally my fault they were lovely to play with off the ground and off the tee. Well chuffed.
