According to golf digest the rule thats supposed to be coming in next year may be put back or even cancelled

I think the rule change is daft anyway. I believe it's being done to try and stop the drive and wedge gang who can muscle it out of the rough with control so therefore dont need to be accurate from the tee, just long.
I think it is better to just grow the rough longer so it is truly penal such as they do at the US open and our Open.
I love the check and spin I get from my Vokeys, don't see why I have to give that up in a few years because Bubba Watson and co. are big strong lads who can muscle it out of 2" high 'rough' - grow the rough so it is actually rough, don't change the grooves.
