New GM Mag delivered today....

Hi Mike,

Got my issue yesterday, unfortunately, quite a number of the pages were stuck together at the top - i.e. they hadn't been cut properley. At least 20 pages joined for between 10 - 30 mm, and a couple of pages completely joined along the top edge. Had to sit there with the scissors last night separating the ones I hadn't ripped when turning the pages :(
 
It was funny to see the photos of SteveK & Screwback during their fitting, watching Aztecs, with arms folded, faces like thunder.

You could just tell they're thinking "Get aff and gies a shot ya @@@@@"

Made me laugh anyway.
 
have recently subscribed but not received as yet, any way to know whether my first issue is this mths or next?

whats with the covers? they seem to be getting worse and worse, surely they can't think of anything more ghastly for next month, it takes some reading standing on your head.

Hi all
the 'dust jacket' cover wrap is a creative advert for TM (it does have advertisement written at the bottom on both sides) and the proper mag is underneath. The two small bits of spot glue were there to hold it in place when it went through the machinery that inserts the mag into the clear bag the subs issues are wrapped in. Just rub them gently and they come off

Very interesting interview with Calcavecchia, enjoyed that, very interesting character who opened my eyes with his honesty.

Just you, I found a cracking Calc interview, amongst other things. I criticised the mag a few months back especially over their (in my opinion) poor interviews however last months magazine was brilliant in my opinion and from what I've read so far this month its shaping up to be another bumper magazine.

Don't know if Mike and the guys took any notice of the criticism back then but I think they are back on form.

Only downside I see this month is Steve Kemlo's ugly puss in the magazine!

The gifts (balls etc) are for new subscribers. There is no way a mag can afford to give a dozen balls to every subscriber, every year they subscribe.

Mine arrived yesterday and nothing wrong with the cover on mine,happy days. Great article on myself,aztec and screwback ,now to read the rest tonight some of the articles recently have been spot on ,looking forward to reading Calc's as i like watching the guy play.

Reading the article ,i'd actually forgot how my club was set up and how much i gained in distance,god know's where that swings went :D

I think its went with my swing the guys at TM must have thought he ain't getting one with a swing like that.

Once it was set properly mate it was superb honest :)
