Need advice on a new driver, currently have a G15 reg flex 10.5 but think i need to upgrade to something with a but more umph ! defienetly thinking of getting a stiff shaft but not sure what to actually go for ?

Any recommendations on a driver and a place to get one ? probably need custom fitting too !

If you are definite on getting another then go to a fitting centre (or your local pro) with an open mind, you might be surprised that way.

Lots on here rave about the ease of hitting the Ping G series so not sure what would have more umph.
Do you have a fast swing speed that's making you think that stiff shaft would be better?

Have you had your game looked at to tell which shaft you need?
I like 75% of all other golfers thought my swing speed was higher than it is so had a stiff shaft. Turns out, that regular is for me.

American Golf is usually a safe bet unless you have a good pro shop that will help you out.

yeah my swing speed has increased since i got theG15 so now i hit a higher flight with a bit too much spin so was hoping a stiff shaft might help me out, as you say though think the best way to get around it is to visit american golf and see what happens !

I went from a ping g15 10.5 to a titleist 910 d2 9.5 (put in C1 setting) recently and the difference is night and day (for me). both had stiff shafts but my g15 just balloon'd the ball. shaft in my 910 is an aldila Rip shaft and my swing speed is around 105-110. because my ball isnt ballooning as much and my spin rate has been reduced I'm probably adding about 20 yards on average to my drives and my ball flight is more controllable.

As someone said get fitted if you can but just thought my experience going from the g15 might be of interest to you.
