I should be going to Norfolk Premier Golf over the weekend, Chris Potter is the pro there and he's always done me and my brother some very good deals.
Im thinking of getting a new (or secondhand) driver soon, I currently have two drivers and im always in two minds as to which to use, so I guessed i'd trade them in against a new one. As i've mentionned im pretty skint but i've got £30 left from my birthday, so how much do you think i'll have to play with if I trade in; Titleist 907 D1, Callaway X 460, Odyssey XG#1, Scotty Futura, plus the £30.
and is there a chance they wont be happy about doing a deal with so little cash involved?

I think you've hit the nail on the head there! You never know they might feel they can sell on all your kit easy enough but their business is selling new kit rather than selling on old stuff I reckon.

I'd say you would get a tour burner for that would you not be better off selling the kit and heading in with the cash you have some good gear to sell would you not wait a couple of weeks try and sell it and go for a new model driver altough you should get a good deal on a older model.

I was going to put them on ebay, but im sick of paying the fees. Plus if I get payed by paypal and then transfer it into my bank it will be gone on bills and direct debits before I get my hands on it. Golfbidder offered me £150 for the lot, but their offer on the Odyssey putter was only £40 which I wasn't happy with, which is why I was hoping the pro shop would offer me a similar amount, I can always ask.

Was up there this morning and couldnt resist the urge to splash out.

Bought a lovely new Mizuno..................cap ;)

Couldnt even be bothered to haggle

Then went to AG on the ring road and got some big fluffy warm mitts at 1/2 price

Why don't you describe them honestly and see if any forum members would be interested in them, you never know. Then you would have cash in your hand.

Well i've put the putters on the for sale section already, I could add the drivers to that I guess.

Clubhouse golf have got a Srixon WR driver for £50.It has a good write up and for the money is a great deal.I would have bought one if i had not just bought a G15 for £180 !

Been waiting for a Cobra S9-1 to come down in price. I've just been to AG, found them down to £129. They then found one out back that had been used for 1 round and bought back, so offered it to me for £99. They've also offered to part-ex my Cobra LDF, so on my way back shortly.....

Went back, they offered me £30 for my old LDF, so basically got the S9-1 for £60. That's a bargain in my book, something I was actually looking out for with 70% discount :D

Took it straight down the range, first swing of a club in over 4 weeks. Large bucket, no power fades, half a dozen pulls and maybe 3 gentle fades, otherwise the gps tracking was straight down the middle, very happy bunny here today. Will have to wait see how she performs under pressure though :D

I went in AG today and they offered me a good part ex deal on a new driver. They offered £150 for my 4 clubs, I accepted their offers on all but the Odyssey putter. So £110 plus the £30 cash I had and I got a TM Tour Burner TP.
Lovely driver, and im well pleased I still have my XG#1
