an update as I am excited that I just bought some new shiny clubs.

Just bought a Titleist TSi2 for £299 and a TSi3 3 wood for £175 brand new.

Comparing the new driver and old driver, have been a bit sceptical of the advantages of new driver (didn't stop me wanting one), as my old driver absolutely flew when hit well.

The new club was only maybe a couple yards longer, but the difference in forgiveness is astonishing to me. Hit one with the new club, didn't feel like a great strike, but went down the middle decent distance with a couple yards of fade. Immediately got the old club out, felt like the same sort of strike,15-20 yards right to left into the woods.

The difference between the two on a course would have been in the fairway a but shorter compared to being middled, vs likely lost ball or with an impossible shot.

Fingers crossed this will mean more FIR

I really don't understand the noise thing. ! couldn't give a rat's furry behind what a driver sounds like if it's going to keep me on the short stuff.
In fairness, you and Oddsocks are a worse noise on a golf course. ???
that shank flight big dog you have sounds like a Jamaican steel band, it’s also a lot shorter than my slap stick ?
