Right time has come for a new big stick.... Currently using a callaway fti super stiff 9 degree.. And im really, really sorry and i know its not a dunlop but im regually known to push the 300 mark..... I know im going to get stick for this but im im an ex rugby pro and built like a truck.....
Im really liking a titleist 910 d3 any thoughts......??

So many options out there. Drivers are going through a renaissance and there is so many makes and models that offer a good level of performance. I think you need to try a few first and see what suits your eye rather than having one in mind and sticking with that regardless. Once you've narrowed it down then you can decide if C/F or off the shelf is the way to go. I'd say C/F all day but there are some that don't agree. Then the fun of the session and the pain of paying for it. Once it arrives get out and hit that 400 yard barrier with regularity.

Definitely a 'non-normal' case, so proper custom fit would be beneficial.

Though if you are hitting 300-ish, why change?

I know im in two minds over changing, but had mine for a few years and its looking a bit battered on the face, but it works, but i want something new and shiny....:mmm:

Stick with callaway, I used to use an ft5 changed to a Nike, and have had tm Titleist even tried a ping and a cobra, nothing beats callaway for me wish I had gone back asap not 2 years later.... :)

Think a trip to the local direct golf is on the cards in the am.... Handfull of big sticks and a bucket ofballs followed by a dented bank balance....

get a G20 with a regular shaft, I hear they go some !!;)

If I was in the market for a new driver, which I often am!! I would go and hit i20, g20, Cobra AMP, Raza Black X, Titleist or the new Nike, (have i missed any out?)

i have the taylormade burner superfast 2.0 and its a great driver although if you still want the titleist 910 D3 then go for a custom fit and see what you get then :) :D

I just really dont fancy an r11s, which i know i will probably end up hitting the best with, but just cant stand the bloody adverts!!!

if your gonna end up with an adjustable driver over a normal driver then the Razr Fit is the best choice if your a callaway man

I would go and find a good club builder with a decent facility. If your smashing 300 yards then I would suggest "off the shelf" clubs will be miles away from what you actually require.

Have a look at the precision golf thread and my Scott Gourlay thread in the review section. It'll be money well spent.
