Hi guys,

Can anyone recommend a good driver for a high handicapper? I had a Callaway X2 Hot, which I hit quite well, but it's broke beyond repair.

I'm a 23 handicapper, so looking for a forgiving club ideally.

I'm not sure whether to stick with what I know with the X2 Hot or if there's anything else out there that I could try.

Money is quite tight, so I will probably be raiding the second hand racks.

Cheers all

Yep, don't over think this. How you swing the club far more important than the club.

If you have a decent golf store nearby with a driving range, they will probably allow you to hit their second hand clubs and definitely makes sense to pick up something that someone has traded and elected to spend £450 on a brand new driver.

Testing on forgiving drivers brings Ping G range out on top year after year after year. It's hard to go wrong with a G25/G30 etc
