New Ball

Hi all,

Looking to try out a few new balls this month.

Im looking at something in the £15-25 price bracket for a dozen.

Currently using a Pro v1x but the price of them is ridiculous for winter.

Any suggestions cheers?

p.s. cheaper the better...do dunlop do 4 piece golf balls?

If you're looking for a decent winter ball the Bridgestone E6 is a decent ball and £27 for 2 dozen in AG I think. Other than that the AD333 Tour can be found for a decent price

I've never understand these threads. you might as well say "can you name every mid level ball there is"

all your going to achieve is a list of just about every ball there is. balls seem to be personal. a bit like asking someone to tell you what holiday to go on. best thing to do is keep your eye open next time you're in the rough and plag what you find until you get one you like

They do a 3 piece which I quite like.

Love the Z star for winter. For what ever reasons, I just can't get a Prov1X to work in winter, even though I use it in summer.

you can get 2 dozen off eBay for £35'ish if you look around, that usually covers me for the whole of winter.

so far in 4 posts you've been recommended 5 different balls that people like. in the upcoming posts your going to get another five. non of these people know you or your swing yet your going to listen why they like the ball they've chosen. you might as well go up to your pro shop and ask for a sleeve of everything. or if you're having lessons ask your pro what balls he thinks you should try.

Really don't change my ball now, PV1x. However, I think Srixon Z stars are the next best thing and cheaper.
