In over 30 years of playing Golf, I have never hit a hole in one, and have never been playing with some one when they have hit one. I was wondering if this was nomal?
However, I have holed my 2nd on a par 5 for an albatros, but unfortunately, I was playing on my own, so no-one witnessed it :(

I had a hole in one while on my own but have had one since (same hole, same club) in a fun game but never in a comp. Other than those I've seen 2. An albatross is much more rare, I'd swap my two aces for one of those any day.

i was on the putting green once watching the two guys in the comp. Didn't see where his ball went but when i watched them go to the green i saw him take it out of the hole, so im guessing he got a hole in one.

Saw one two weeks ago playing with a mate of mine thats his second an i've seen them both.Me, Not a chanse, he reminds me now and again.

Never had one and never seen one, although I have seen one of my playing partners hole a provisional for a par 3!!

Been playing on and off for 18 years. Never had one, only ever seen one.

Was playing yesterday and saw a hole in one, sadly for the chap who played the shot it will not count, as he was one the 8th tee and the ball went in the hole on the 2nd !! about six foot away from me.

On the plus side he did buy me a drink after the round for picking his ball up for him.

I had never had one but I witnessed one. An old Welsh lady shot one at Les Oliviers in Tunesia, a 3wood for 108 yards :D

Never had one and never seen one, but I had the 2 closest ones yesterday in the same round.

Had 2' and 3' putts for birdies. The 3 footer (past) pitchmark was about 4' short of the pin, and the 2' pitchmark was about 8" to the left of the pin.

One was blind, and the other two had a ridge in the green, such that the ball disappears from view, but you can still see most of the pin.
