Ok off 28 so not awesome scoring, gross 95, net 67 and 38 points (par 69)

1st round out with the new grip/posture and everything else I am in the process of ingraining and not one triple on the card, worst was a 6 and parred the par 5 9th and 18th

the score doesnt actually reflect the overall round as I missed a few putts but only had one 3 putt. I also played the par 3's terribly so I know I can score much better.

Tee shots werent awesome but stayed out of trouble and longest drive of around 260 was a nice fade. Hybrids went sweet aswell.

the only thing really to moan about was my alignment as at least 3 times I was pin high but just left of the green (I used to aim left due to my natural fade)

overall well impressed, plenty to work on but its a step in the righ direction

well done Gibbo, heading i nthe right direction by the sound of things. 36 points from 20hc today 2 blobs included, i'm happy to get that many normally but had two blobs on the front nine and finisehed with two 1 pointers.

yesterday was the same story, 5 under from hole 10 to 15 then lost all five shots gained on the 16th. ended up net 74 (+2)

my mate off 10 shot a gross 72 net 62 for 43 points and the win, maybe it helped that he was playing well, overall joint 2nd, happy days

running out of comps but deffo feel I can shot a sub 90 round, roll on next week although its a pairs greensomes followed by monthly medal and then another pairs comp...

my GF is not happy but sod her, golf is much more enjoyable
