I'm working this Easter weekend, good job really I need a break from golf. I love it but not every weekend. Sometimes taking a weekend off makes me look forward to going the following Sat a little more. do you every take a break or do you just play every weekend regardless?

Feeling golfed out mate?

I feel like a break when I play really badly, sometimes helps too.
Otherwise, I love my early Sunday evening knocks up at the course. Nice and peaceful, no rush, plenty of time to just play the holes and practise.

Nothing wrong with a break at all. It can do you the world of good. Especially if you're not playing well.

When you're playing well, the comps can't come quick enough.

Enjoy your break. :)

i gave it a miss for a couple of weeks in february best thing i ever did, hate missing a weekend golfing, was working a 12 hour night shift last went straight to the golf this morning at 8am stii haven't had a sleep been on the go for 27 hours ,mad or what

Agree... A golf break is often a good idea. Helps recharge that batteries and makes you feel the bug a bit more.

Due to my shifts I have 4-5 days off golf at a time so when I have my 4-5 days off work I play nearly every day and I feel great for the break as I don't get over-golfed. :)

Spent most of the winter "hibernating"(some enforced some not) and tend to only play 3 weekends out of 4.

My daughters 5 so I make sure she gets at least one full weekend of doing stuff with Dad.

I'll play more golf when she can't stand the uncool, bald fool that I will undoubtedly become. :D
